What is the PLASMA Pen System?

Plasma Pen is a precision hand held medical class device used for cosmetic skin regeneration and rejuvenation.

The Plasma Pen emits a small controlled arc which is charged with energy creating what is known as a ‘plasma flash’. The plasma flash hits tiny predetermined points on the skin causing an immediate tightening effect. These tiny flash points create a healing response within the skin prompting the production of new cells including elastin and collagen. Collagen is the skins scaffolding system and plumps out lines and wrinkles, helps support the skin and helps keep the skins youthful appearance. This incredible device erases wrinkles, evens out scar tissue and lifts sagging skin. The Plasma Pen can also treat pigmentation, stretch marks, acne scars, skin tags and warts. There is minimal downtime and the results can last for up to 3 years.

What does a Plasma Pen treatment involve?

Your Plasma Pen Practitioner will take you through a consultation and explain the treatment and the aftercare.

A local anaesthetic cream is applied to the area to be treated.

The Plasma Pen is held close to the skins surface, a trigger is pressed and lots of tiny little plasma charges are delivered all over the treatment area. The treatment will last approximately one hour.

Will it hurt?

Most clients report no discomfort but there is the possibility of a sensation of heat and mild but very short lived discomfort, similar to threading or tweezing hair.

How will I feel after the treatment?

After the treatment, your skin may feel a little sensitive, similar to mild sunburn.

Swelling is very likely, this is normal for the first 72 hours.

You will have tiny microdots on the treatment area, these dots will dry and crust over and flake off within a week. This is completely normal and an essential part of the healing process.

The dry dots can be covered with foundation.

We recommend allowing two days before returning to work.

What results can I expect?

Results are immediate and will continue for up to two months as the skin’s healing and regeneration process continues and new collagen is formed.

How many sessions will I need?

Optimum results can be achieved with between one and three sessions, at least six weeks apart. Your practitioner will advise you on your best treatment program for your particular requirements.

PLASMA Pen has taken the aesthetics industry by storm. An incredibly effective non surgical treatment for tightening and lifting problem areas such as hooded eyelids, crows feet, neck lines and more. Just one session will give incredible instant long lasting results, little wonder that more and more people are opting for PLASMA Pen instead of going under the surgeons knife.
